Technical Stilo 3 door, 5 door and Multiwagon brake discs.

Are the brake discs of the Stilo JTD 3 door, 5 door and Multiwagon interchangeable?

For example.
If I removed the discs from a 3 or 5 door JTD, would they fit on a JTD Multiwagon and work?

Rear discs are the same for all models but there are different front discs depending on engine size and I think MW or saloon may be different. 3 or 5 door makes no difference for discs.

Not sure about the MW vs 3&5 Door on the basis that the MW might be heavier and require bigger disks at the front?

I just brought brand new front and rear EBC pads and drilled and grooved discs for £150.

The guy insisted 284mm(front) will fit the Multiwagon, they look great, just hope they fit?

That is most likely to be true. The 1.6 petrol MW uses larger front discs than the 1.6 petrol 3/5-door model.

While I have the calipers off is it worth paintin them? Not something I would normally consider doing but the disks look really good so should I or shouldn't I?

If so, what colour on a Silver Multiwagon?

The missus said I just spent £150 on pads and discs the car didn't need so she gets to pick the colour. RED .... :shrug:

That's true, they sold me the disks for the 3/5 version and they were significantly smaller than the ones we took off.

Yes... part number for 3 door, 5 door and MW JTD front discs is the same.
