The replacemen for the Stilo is supposed to be presented late 2006 and is currently being designed and engineered by Magna-Steyr in Austria for Fiat.
So i don't think that it will like any of the drawings we have seen for the past year.

Abarth was an Austrian
The Panda 4x4 Mk1 was designed and built in Austria
The Alfasud was designed by an Austrian.

fiat bossies where left unimpressed at the design from fiat design, and Magna-Steyr made some nice promises over what they could do design wise within the set period.

I thought this new Stilo was the first Fiat not to be designed either by an Italian, in Italy or by an Italian design house... I hope it looks better than the pics when it does arrive... Forward thinking, but not so radical nobody would touch it...

Gav, not fully sure what you mean by the design bit, but didnt Chris Bangle design the brava/o range within the Fiat design house ?

Top photo looks pretty good to me, shrink the grill down to normal size and it's a winner.

I don't like the second one, too high and MPV like.

Anyone like the new Civic. They've done a good job there I'd say.
