I like the shape of that top one, I think it's looks better than in the original pictures

I don't think you have to worry.
The replacemen for the Stilo is supposed to be presented late 2006 and is currently being designed and engineered by Magna-Steyr in Austria for Fiat.
So i don't think that it will like any of the drawings we have seen for the past year.

I wont be buying a new stilo if it looks like either of those!
Unless they do an abarth with a turbo.

So why are Fiat's designed in Austria??? I thought the "passionate italian design" would have to be designed in italiy?????

I thought this new Stilo was the first Fiat not to be designed either by an Italian, in Italy or by an Italian design house... I hope it looks better than the pics when it does arrive... Forward thinking, but not so radical nobody would touch it...
that black and white pic looks based on the auto express photoshop from before Magna-steyr where involved.
Gav, not fully sure what you mean by the design bit, but didnt Chris Bangle design the brava/o range within the Fiat design house ?

Well i can see lots of GERMAN INFLUENCE in there audi vw bmw the fronts a total mess i rate it 5/10
they have ruined the stilo

Just unbolt a few panels here, bit of filler, lick of paint
Top photo looks pretty good to me, shrink the grill down to normal size and it's a winner.
I don't like the second one, too high and MPV like.
Anyone like the new Civic. They've done a good job there I'd say.
