Technical Stilo 1.9 JTD Multiwagon boot won't open

Hey there.

With the remote central locking for my Stilo 1.9 JTD Multiwagon on the blink, I'm having to open doors manually. However, the boot/tailgate/rear door seems to be stuck. Does anyone know if there is some kind of manual release trigger/button/thing that will allow me to open the boot/tailgate/rear door from the inside?

Can I assume that I have to take the spare tyre out and unscrew the fascia that covers the workings of the lock shown above? Because there is no visible hole that I shove a screwdriver into
