Hi Guys,
My wifes car went a bit haywire over the cold period in decemeber, basically the dials on the dash would intermittently die completely then come back on, this happened for a few weeks now it completely dead. I've read the following thread here (cant post urls) -
ttp://www.fiatforum.com/stilo/172505-dashboard-dials-all-dead-5.html
and tried replacing the 2 fuses mentioned with no joy (except now the clock has gone off too) also tried cleaning the D4 connector under the battery without success.
I've put a volt meter on the battery and its running a constant 14 volts with the engine running so thats ok. I really dont want to have to fork out for a new one as it only does 2000k a year and i was getting rid of it anyway. Is there any other things i could try ?
for info the car only has 29000 miles on it so getting an instrument panel from a scrappy isnt going to work.
Thanks for any help
Cheers
Steve
