Recently I bought a 2007 new Doblo which now has 330 miles on the clock. On two occasions in one day when the vehicle was stationary the engine revved to 4500 revs for 30 secs, gradually dying over 20 secs to usual 900 rev tickover. The accelerator pedal was not jammed or wedged in any way.
Has anyone else experienced anything similar? According to the dealer, I must have trapped the pedal in the carpet, which I did not do. They require the car back for 2 days for tests as they say they are not aware of any problem.
