Technical Stereo settings

Hi,

I've just fitted a Sony stereo using a connects2 wiring adapter, but when the ignition is switched off, the settings (area,clock etc) aren't saved, any ideas?

It's a 2003 Panda.

My thoughts too.

The adaptor should provide a permanent live, and a switched live. It is possible you have these reversed, as the radio will still operate like this, but as you've found, lose its settings when off.

New radio should have come with a diagram for the power plug, need to recheck that.

Sorted, I had to swap the red and yellow wires on the Sony harness.
