Good Evening, hope everyone is well.
Firstly I would like assistance with my car. The easy problem. I have put in a new head unit so that I can have a subwoofer. The subwoofer is great, the not so great part is that I have blown my tweeters and now they’re very muffled which means I gotta fix them or buy new ones. I would prefer new ones, in which case I was wondering what size they are. I don’t have a good picture of them but I did remove the trim and take a quick picture of how it looks inside. I was thinking of one of the pioneer A series tweeter as I have a DEHS720DAB Head unit. It has 4x50w outputs so for now should be fine until I get an amplifier for them. I don’t have my car with me for a few weeks while the engine has work being done to it so cannot send any more pictures. I was thinking of another idea if I can’t find good tweeters in this size, I might cover up the trim which has holes in it and put the tweeters that have a stand for them instead
Now the second issue I have is actually a lot more confusing and there’s a lot of factors behind it. My steering wheel buttons don’t work. There are things i have confirmed that are not the problem. The fuses are fine, the clock spring is also fine (I replaced it and it didn’t fix the issue). The problem first started when it was raining badly. I had aftermarket LEDs installed as the Halogen bulbs were too weak and couldn’t see at night. They also overheated a lot but I had the ones with fans installed. I’m wondering if that could have caused an error in the system or anything. For a few months it did not work at all. It was gone completely, the steering wheel lights would flash two times then turn off. However this did work 1 day. The check tire pressure light came on and the buttons worked, after checking tire pressure turned out nothing was wrong so I removed the error but the next day it stopped working, it was still working for a while after erasing the error, same thing happened yesterday and was working whole day so I didn’t clear the codes on my journey to drop the car off at the garage, I’ve taken it to 3 garages and they’ve not fixed it and charged me money for other problems for no reason. Also have attached of the steering wheel when it works below. As you can see the check tire pressure light is on. Additionally there is one thing that stops working when these buttons stop working, I can’t move the mirrors either for some reason. I have to manually push them when these buttons stop.
I would appreciate any help regarding both matters. Also happy to be a new member of this forum and sorry in advance as I know there will be more questions asked in the future
