I had the alternator replaced (2008 Doblo 1.9), which may be cooincidental, but since then I have had difficult, laboured starting. Numerous trips to various mechanics have seen new glow plugs and fuel filter fitted with no improvement. The last garage stated that the starter motor was drawing a lot less power from the battery (battery is ok) than it should be, and that he would undertake some research. When I phone the mechanic he promises to check up and call me back, which he doesn't do.
