The stop/start light keeps coming on, the battery has been coded to the car as it was new a few weeks ago . Car is 2013 Twinair 500.

I have changed the module on the negative battery but still shows. Module was a EBay purchase so I run the risk of buying a faulty item.

Could it be anything else ?

Thanks Mark

Finally found the issue with this. My 2010 Doblo was coming up with the advisory light saying stop start unavailable. I did all the advised checks lights battery charge earth leads nothing sorted it. Put a scanner on it and it came up with and intermittent error with the brake light switch (error light not activated). Ordered a new switch £8.80 including delivery. Fitted in 2 minutes ( basically go to the brake pedal unclip the 4 wire block, rotate the switch and remove, do the opposite to fit the new one). Turned the engine over (fingers crossed) and no lights no start stop error messages, sorted.

Batteries are not coded to these cars. If a garage said they are check they actually changed the battery and then check they supplied the right one as they are not competent. Another possibility is the clutch position switch but a proper scan would be advised to avoid replacing things that dont require it. Do a search as this has been discussed this year if memory serves and one post does go through the possibilities quite thoroughly.
