Technical Boot light stays on

Boot closes and locks fine but indication still shows boot open? I guess this is the famous rear wiring loom issue ? I need to change the right rear light anyway so will get it checked out

Could be microswitch in the lock.

Yes I passed by the mechanic this is the issue. 90 euros to fix but frankly there is no practical issue of not fixing it since the boot closes and locks fine so I won’t bother fixing it
