Your going to need an adaptor plte to use that one i'm afraid.

The mk1 punto sporting (or punto 85) inlet is the plug and play happy days one.

Thanks

the bravo one is a 4 bolt fitting exactly the same as the manifold had the guy measure across the holes and they are the same.....and its been used before in one of the other 1.4 16v conversion guides hence why ive gone that route:confused:

few more pics of the state of the rear brakes when i stripped them and the rear beam is now cleaned and painted and have just put it back in the car tonight and the rear arms are just drying out ready to go back on the beam tomorrow......weather permitting.:worship:
pics of it back in situ will follow tomorrow got the back end all sealed up and blacked...any holes got waxoil blasted in there and and bits missing seam sealer got refilled so no water is going to get in anywhere to cause that horrid rust to appear:devil:

I thought the bravo was fly by wire?

I did notice the bravo manifolds come with an adaptor for 3 bolt manifolds that converts it for 4 bolt throttlebodies (I have one here :D).

Thanks

no apparently the bravo/a 1.6 16v tb is plug and play as well and the connections are the same from what the chap described....someone correct me if im wrong plz

Ahh I know which one you are referring too now.

Not sure why nobody uses that one, has to be a reason.

Thanks

well its going to be interesting having a play and see what the outcome is...fingers crossed:D
im hoping the weather stays dry tomorrow so i can get most of the back end rebuilt...waiting on a backing plate arriving end of next week....im aiming to drop the engine and box out next wednesday so i can get on with sorting the engine bay out ready for the 1.4/6speed being dropped in....again weather permitting as this is all being done on the driveway with no shelter:bang:

if u get the mk1 sporting inlet, then is just plug and play and wire up D4.... if u were to use a different inlet, then you have to figure out what each sensor is on the inlet you have.

I think Dan might have use that inlet ? Am not 100% sure, but am sure is doable just more work.

looks like it's one off a mk2 sporting to me, which is irrc fly by wire.

photograph all the sensors etc on it, and we'll have more of an idea if it's any use.
