Just filled up again now, got 317 miles out of that last tank, though wierdly when I got home it was at 250 and was sitting at 1/2 tank Maybe I just drive too fast around here

i think just driving round town and doing lots of short journeys uses more fuel than doing a long Mway journey

Most likely you're right, and considering the nearest dual-carriageway is about 30 miles away, and the nearest Mway over 100 miles from here I guess I'm back to drinking petrol again

if your that far in the sticks have you thought about catching some local sheep and tieing them to your car, sure it will be just as quick and cheap.
