Help Required. I have just bought a 2000 W Punto 1.2 ELX and it is fitted with the standard 100W Sub. I have replaced the OEM radio/cass with the fiat OEM radio/cd and the sub does not seem to work, any ideas why?? am i missing something stupid here?? Please help I would like it to work!!

Thanks

I am haveing the same problem, when i removed the OEM sterio, i put in a new one, my new sterio has only two ISO connectors, the old one had one, i am presumeing that the third connector is for the sub, i am trying to find a wireing diagram for it so i can manually wire the ting to my head unit, if you get any answers. please drop me a line.

cheers

Andy

you need a stereo with a Sub Out on it. If it aint got it, it won't work. That said, it's rubbish anyway so don't bother, just get some decent rear speakers.

the descent into insanity continues unabated

I would live to manually wire it up, i dont want to hack my new car to pieces. dont suppose you have a wireing diagram do you, or know weather the sub takes high or low levil inputs

the comment out needing a sub out is a not true. i have just changed my head unit for aftermarket blaupunkt. anyway i thought it needed a sub out. but then i find out it doesnt.

the standard fit fiat sub receives power from the electric arial out pin. hard to beilve i know but i got that from the fiat workshop manual. and after having to alter wires around i know its true because i disconnected the sub out pin from my new stereo. and sub works great,

only think i can think of is that maybe wiring on cd model is different. check ya wiring at back and check the fuse in teh dub in boot.

nicze speling ;p
