Squeeking noise when i turn.

Got car service a few weeks ago, neew brake pads and discs on front tyres. also got the front tyres changed, I have 17'' alloys, ever since they have gone on i've been hearing this rather loud squeekin noise when i turn heavy corners,

its really annoying, Can anyone help.

i had the same, it is the power steering pump being put under more pressure than it is used to because of your wider 17" wheels. mine went away after a while, it is nothing to worry about.

yeh the pump put under more pressure but its the belt sliping on the pulley that makes the noise i think. try spraying the belt with some silicone grease should help

Sounds like the old mouse stuck in the suspension strut to me

In all seriousness though, i wouldn't put grease anywhere near a belt. No matter what it was for...
