I’m looking for a reliable garage i live in Halifax unfortunately my little 500 got a bad squeak when its warmed up and becomes a little stiff when I’m using the clutch 😔
Just don’t want to get ripped off as money’s tight being in my last year at Uni its a 2012 with 52k on the clock

Hi have a friend listen with the bonnet up as you press the pedal, see if the noise is from around the gearbox area or is it in the car?
Our now old 09 car 96k occasionally makes this noise but is not an issue, if your noise is worryingly loud it could be the clutch

Of course it could be the pedal just needs some lubrication but the Panda and 500 tend to "suffer" from squeaky clutch slave cylinders. Unfortunately they are definitely made to a budget and if that's the case the only real cure is to fit a new one as it's usually a precursor to the cylinder leaking fluid followed by an inoperable clutch. The master cylinder is not without it's problems too and some people advise fitting both together. In fact you can buy both ready filled with fluid so that when you clip together the joint in the middle of the pipe you don't even have to bleed the system - Only manufacturer I've ever heard of who does this.

I’ve suffered this also twice … first it was the master cylinder… so replaced it & the slave .. lubed everything up including the pedal .. but now it’s back & is definitely the gearbox.. I believe my fork bushes have dried out .. seeing as it’s a gearbox out job I’m waiting till I gather my bits to change it all at once
