Just replaced the timing belt on our motorhome with help of FreeSpirit's excellent write up.
Put it all back together starts fine but new squeak appeared!
After lots of stripping down and double checking tensioner and idler etc decided to run engine briefly without auxiliary belt (no aircon) and squeak gone so suspect the water pump on the way out (feels a bit rough when turning by hand).
Can anybody tell me if its another timing belt strip down to get the pump off or can it be done in situ. I think the belt tensioner anvil is part of the water pump casing?
Any tips or advice much appreciated there doesn't look much room between the water pump and the inner wing for getting it out.
Was looking forward to an easy weekend!
Many thanks
