Just replaced the timing belt on our motorhome with help of FreeSpirit's excellent write up.
Put it all back together starts fine but new squeak appeared!
After lots of stripping down and double checking tensioner and idler etc decided to run engine briefly without auxiliary belt (no aircon) and squeak gone so suspect the water pump on the way out (feels a bit rough when turning by hand).
Can anybody tell me if its another timing belt strip down to get the pump off or can it be done in situ. I think the belt tensioner anvil is part of the water pump casing?
Any tips or advice much appreciated there doesn't look much room between the water pump and the inner wing for getting it out.
Was looking forward to an easy weekend!
Many thanks

Just as likely to be alternator squeak or the tensioner spacer fell out of place on first assembly I'd put back on the aux belt and use a piece of hose a a stethoscope to isolate the squeak.au if it's still there.

Thanks corcai
I did strip the cambelt tensioner down again just in case it was tensioner roller noise and was careful to check the two interlocking washers where located properly.
Pretty sure it's the pump as it's quite noisy when spinning it by hand.
When I tighten the auxiliary belt up really tight the squeak almost goes but it's too tight and might damage the bearings.
Someone suggested soluble oil in the coolant and see if it calms down.
