Styling Spray Tint???

hi,
just wondering if this is the right spray tint to use to spray the rear lights, side repeators ect...

WIll this give me the shiny black tint or a dull matt black tint????

Can i remove the tint if i change my mind????

Do i just apply it like you would with spray paint , light layers and spray a coat every 15mins.

And this is a stupid question but i need to know can i tint the front headlights like this and is it road legal???

i would of thought a bit of carefully applied paint thinner will do the trick

i tinted mine today and thay look 100% nicer mate..

i cleaned the lenes then sprayed them with even coat ever 10-15 min then leave to dry when your happy...then t-cut or wax thats wot i used and now iv got a nice set of shiney set of rear light.....

i used savage tint spray......

Ah i see well il make sure its a dust free garage when i start to spray

I bought some e-tech spray 150ml, will that do both my lights???? i want them pretty dark.

I can always buy more and carry on the next weekend cant i, if i run out of spray tint

BTW iv had anyother idea i might slightly tint the speedo dail plastic cover cos you can just turn on your sidelights and get the speedo to light up if it gets to dark.

Yes just spray light layers on at a time, you will find that when it drys out, it will go darker, so dont spray and think nothing came out!

Ah thanks mate any idea how many coats would be reasonable darkness of tint???

And sounds easy to remove will be having a go next weekend now, only time i have free lol

Get two cans if you want them really dark, i ran out then when i brought another can then went over them they didnt look as good, i would say just do them until they are dark enough for you because it depends on how thick or thin you do the layers, make sure you take your time aswel.

If you are worried about mot etc just coat it until you are happy and aslong as you can see light coming through when they are back on your car, if you dont rec its dark enough for you, just buy bigger watt bulbs = brighter

also leave the reflectors untinted

One small can 150ml is more than enough to go pitch black, remember what my rear lights looked like?
I had enough to even spray my side repeaters with some left in the can!

Yours looking good mate, im liking the boot with all lights and nice alloys mate i always wanted some 5 split spoke but to expensive for me lol well they wer wen i wer buying mine.

Not too bothered about mot passing i still have the original lights im gonna tint my lexus lights, and i dont even have any reflectors lol but i never got pulled and for mot i just stuck my reflectors on then took them bak of after i passed lol

Right good good, i only ordered 1 can then realised its only 150ml lol yeah i want my lights tinted to the same darkness and shine likke yours so 1 can should do and i already have tinted side repeators so il have a bit left for what ever else i have in mind.

Its alrite mate thanks anyway, i will just do one light ot the darkness i want then if i think i havnt got enough il do the next light another day, il just count the coats iv done on the first light cluster

tbh i think il run out cos i used 2 150ml spray can to spray my wing mirrors wih 3 coats lol i do thick layers i think lol
