Speedo head

Hi im new to fiat forum but nd sm help for my 17 yr old daughter who has a fiat 500 lounge.due mot on Friday but nothing much working on dashboard and has bn told by fiat she nds new speedo head at nearly £550 to buy and fit. She's is distraught at the cost (and so am I) can anyone help/advise so we don't get ripped off please!!!!

I believe there have been SOME issues with the displays,

but it would be worth attempting a reset initially,

and if that doesn't work see if BBA REMAN , or similar can refurb. them.

shame she bought it so close to MOT time, or you could've found a cheaper way of doing the repairs.
