Speed bumps!

Speed bumps!

Supposedly, if u can get your car on a mot station ramp, then u should be able to clear all speed bumps. If u cant clear a speed bump (i.e its higher than a mot ramp) u can ask for it to be removed or re-sized.

Three main cases for me main one and most pointless

I pick up my girlfriend and on some occasions my dad (not together I must add) from Piccadilly train station Manchester and why I don’t learn my lesson I don’t know but I have done it a few times and gone into the pick up area. Can I get over the darn thing, can I b*****ks its like a full size ski slope. NIGHTMARE HONEST(n)

2. Work speed bumps bit easier this time but very unexpected trust, I can get the front over but if I don’t apply the brakes all the way to road it bottoms out and sounds horrible(n)

3. These ones aint to bad but are annoying because they are a full road long and its some distance I end up with a big line of cars behind me every time its just stupid (n)

So I am with you lot on this one.

you go over a speed bumb in a dutton pheaton and youve lst almost all the underside of your car. go over it in a westfield and as its so low to the ground youd probably dent the casing and all that. hopless things they really are

we went over some in the stilo in sheff that must have been high considerin the stilo has no side skirts or front trim and isnt lowered but it still bumped the plastic thing under bumper. maybe it was the speed he drove over it?! lol

There arn't any speed humps in Sheffield. They're just potholes. :D

Speed humps in Hartlepool are great. If you hit them at over 40 they would do you a mischief, however rolling over at 30 feels fine.

The little square ones are the worst as there is no transition from flat to angled. Nice rolling ones are the best.

makes me laugh everytime i think of speed bumps, they want to discourage people from using 4x4's for school run etc etc, then stick up speed bumps anywhere and everywhere, and they will jar your spine in anything less than a monster truck :( then wonder why everyone has 4x4's for the urban journeys? :p

Driving around houseing estates in Sheffield.. Your Stilo got bullet proof glass? :p

I've driven all over sheffield. Used to have cuppa tea and choccy biscuit and watch trashy tv at 3am after work at a mates house there. That was just up from the Uni. Crookesmore road.
