Punto (Mk2/2b) Speaker connector

Hey guys, how are ya?
So I was going to change my front speakers when I noticed that my passenger speaker had 2 connectors instead of one, like in the driver's side: a yellow (power plug) and a red one. They are quite similar and I am weirded out. The red one doesn't seem to do anything wether plugged to the speaker or not.
Does anyone know what this is, and is it going to affect anything on the new speakers?

May be an outlet to plug in dashboard tweeters? Highly unlikely to affect replacements just leave it be doing its Italian siesta.
