Speaker/Amp decision

I currently have this amp powering these speakers.
Now I know component speakers sound better, especially in the Punto where my tweeters are currently at ankle height. My question is, would I see any adverse effects by running these components with my current amp? (I'm talking about the RMS ratings)
As you can see there, its a pretty good deal on the Infinity components and I was wondering whether it was worth it...

Ideally you would want a higher powered amp to run them components. You would most probably get better quality sound from the comps purely because you can tune the soundstage to what you want
