General spare wheel lock

Anybody have any ideas or know of a way to lock the spare wheel on a fullback as some bugger has stolen my spare wheel at Birmingham airport. It was parked in carpark 4 for a week and when I returned from holiday the wheel had been removed.

I guess it's in some sort of cage under the rear of the truck?
If so can't you wroa a Chian or anything around it with a pad lock

Chris, I will take a taxi to Birmingham next time. There is no cage it is held up in place with a chain but obviously not secure, I will use you idea or weld the bloody thing on.
