Hi I only have one key for my grande punto and I am wanting another. my fiat dealership has quoted £202.45 inc VAT.

I think I would rather cheese grater my face than pay that so is there a way to get one cheaper? Ebay has some fore sale that are none remote but have the transponder chips in so will these work? and will I be able to get it programmed without going to the dealership as I have lost the key code card?

ah, well it isn't a local car so will I have trouble getting this and will the dealer charge me the earth?

Will an independant key cutter be able to do it?

Dealer doesn't have the Code card- Fiat don't supply it from the factory! The code is kept on file by the ISR and any Dealer can obtain it, or you can order a code card yourself.

This is a pre-coded key, ordered by VIN from dealer (takes 5 days +).
You then need the code and an autolocksmith to cut and programme it in.
