Good evening All.

Been having a browse around the site and thought I would introduce myself (again) seeing how I know about 2 names on the member list.

I have been a member for almost 5 years now but haven't really posted anything in the past 2 years or so (at least) used to be admin here before Martyn shouted at me and told me never to return (that probably did not happen - just more exciting than saying id forgotten my password).

Those of you who remember me Hi.

Now for a quick car history and then that'll be me for the night.

Started with the Punto which I had for 2 years;

1.2 8v, Scilla Red, lowered 70mm, lovely 17" wheels.

Then I moved onto the Leon;

1.9TDi, Fabia VRS alloys, lowered 30mm IIRC, remapped to 140Bhp courtesy of Angel Tuning (great guys!)

And now I am onto the nicest of the lot so far, BMW 320 TD:

Anyways I am off to my bed now.

Might catch up with some of you at the next Glasgow meet if Martyn ever comes this south again.

Life is treating me good mate.

Settled down nicely now. Got a real job doing IT Support in schools in Newton Mearns area, bought my first flat about a year ago and getting married in 2012....so yeah your pressumed dead post was accurate.

Punto Grande - I am going to give a miss. My next car will deffo need to be a 5 door and come with DVD players installed from the factory lol.

Hello and welcome. And don't dismiss the Grande Punto completely (or am I missing an insiders joke)
My 5 door puts a smile on my face every morning (insert your own joke here)

Welcome back, like the car history - bet the Beemer was fun in the snow :laugh:

I actually got the beemer the week that the snow arrived so I was still not 100% adjusted to having RWD constantly so it was....interesting.... in the snow that for sure.

Even in the wet its a nightmare but totally worth it for when you see the roundabout up ahead open up and beg you to slide into your exit.

That'll probably be me in a few months time should I go rwd for the next motor, looking forward to some "interesting" moments myself :laugh:
