New oil and unblocked filters will do that yupI think fresh oil might have something to do with it: mine always feels quieter for a bit after a service.

Mine was much more economical on the way home after it's service too. It was a 200 mile trip to the nearest Abarth dealer, i got around 29 MPG on the way there, and 39 MPG on the way back, 50/50 Motorway and Welsh twisties!
Going to get a shock in 6 months when the 2nd service is due, apparently they change the brake fluid and it's probably going to be £450+!![]()
I've been quoted £115 for a 1 year service x
I was meaning to change the oil at about 9k or so but just didn't get around to it. I also supplied Selenia because of hearing stories about people taking their cars into the dealer and them using other oils. I plan to keep the 500 till it falls to bits so cheaping out on oil doesn't make sense.Ever since new I've changed the oil myself in between intervals on my punto and my brother in laws 500, 18k just seems far too much of a gap but maybe it's just me?
More oil changes the better.
Watch what oil the garage uses also, i supply my own oil for them to use because they are are main dealer but use GB lubricants not selenia oils
I use Mobil 1,
Takes the sting out of the final service cost if you supply the oil aswell![]()
Low milage (7000 mile) Service xIs that for a full service or just oil?

Ah so not quite as good as I thoughtI got the plugs, air filter and pollen filter done for only ~£20 more (just realised that I'd included the cost of a set of wipers and a litre of paraflu in my calculations)
Rob, I'd see what you you can get it done for if you supply parts because mine cost me £130 all up for a full plugs, filters and oil service. Bravo 1.4 filter kit (dunno if it's the same as the t-jet) is only £5 more than for the 1.2 500.
