Got the car serviced today :) Good news is they charged us £70 INC VAT! :D Car will need to go back in to have a couple of things looked at though. It was idling a little rough before it went in and whilst it's much better now I still think it's a little loud, the gearshift gaiter has detached itself from the chrome ring and Blue&Me is even flakier than normal.....

All in all nothing to complain about and a great price. Looking forward to seeing what mpg it'll do with a run in engine and fresh oil :)

Mine was much more economical on the way home after it's service too. It was a 200 mile trip to the nearest Abarth dealer, i got around 29 MPG on the way there, and 39 MPG on the way back, 50/50 Motorway and Welsh twisties!

Going to get a shock in 6 months when the 2nd service is due, apparently they change the brake fluid and it's probably going to be £450+!

Anyone who pays £450 to service an Abarth is an idiot, unless it includes a cambelt change.....

Ever since new I've changed the oil myself in between intervals on my punto and my brother in laws 500, 18k just seems far too much of a gap but maybe it's just me?
More oil changes the better.
Watch what oil the garage uses also, i supply my own oil for them to use because they are are main dealer but use GB lubricants not selenia oils :(
I use Mobil 1,
Takes the sting out of the final service cost if you supply the oil aswell ;)

I was meaning to change the oil at about 9k or so but just didn't get around to it. I also supplied Selenia because of hearing stories about people taking their cars into the dealer and them using other oils. I plan to keep the 500 till it falls to bits so cheaping out on oil doesn't make sense.

i think Desira Norwich are worth a shout, ring around and play them off

looking throught the paperwork for the Bravo the 36k mile service was £180 inc oil, filters, pollen filter and spark plugs

which sounds pretty competitive to me (y)

Low milage (7000 mile) Service x

Ah so not quite as good as I thought :) I got the plugs, air filter and pollen filter done for only ~£20 more (just realised that I'd included the cost of a set of wipers and a litre of paraflu in my calculations) :)

Rob, I'd see what you you can get it done for if you supply parts because mine cost me £130 all up for a full plugs, filters and oil service. Bravo 1.4 filter kit (dunno if it's the same as the t-jet) is only £5 more than for the 1.2 500.
