OK looked in to an alternative thank you however how should I be doing this ?
Is the snow foam a replacement for the soap or a present treater ?
When washing with a pressure washer what steps should I take ?
What you gone for?
As,for steps... Foam dry car from bottom upwards
Leave to dwell
Rinse with pressure washer
Then hand,wash

Shouldnt the car be wet first ? when i got my autobrite snow foam lance and magifoam, it said on the intructions to ensure the car was wet?
I think in someways it depends which foam you use Bilt Hamber Autofoam is one of the better "cleaning" foams without actually producing a lot of "foam". People mistake cleaning power with having lots of foam which is not the case.
To some it has always been a gimmick, but to some a decent pre wash is simply rinsing with water others use pre wash solutions such as APC or others.
I don't only use it for it's cleaning ability on cars it can help serve another purpose that I use regularly and just to add to Andy Monty to lubricate even further during a wash stage.
I also put it on dry, I avoid Autobrite Magifoam these days it is far to expensive for what it is CarChem and Angelwax effectively do the same products without the markup and they supply to MANY of the brands mentioned in various places. Bilt Hamber's is of course as far as I know in house.
So for me in regards to snow foam I actually:
Foam
Rinse
Refoam
2BM
Rinse
Open hose rinse.
Dry
This gives extra lubrication to the paint plus it makes cleaning far easier and something I was encouraged and told about by a certain professional detailer that helps with soft paint was the mitt is even further away from the paint.
