Good evening all,

I am currently looking for a new snow foam lance for my Karcher (bayonet fitting) I am not sure if all of these lances are the same just some with different colours with writing on them or not or if they have difference gradients of consistency when it comes to the foam. If anyone knows of a good lance that will produce good foaming results could you please let me know.

I am considering the autobrite one at the moment.

Kind Regards
Stephen

The Karcher's own brand one is very small and needs to be refilled to cover the whole of my car. I'd be interested in the autobrite one (y)

Also the Karcher one is non-adjustable, so you get a fixed about of "foam", more like soapy water with bubbles - although i suspect this has something to do with the Hard water in London!

dombooth cheers for the recommendation.

So after doing some reading on the internet I am now deciding between two:

The CYC Snow Foam Lance

http://www.cleanyourcar.co.uk/index.php?_a=viewProd&productId=1296

or

The Autobrite Snow Foam Lance

http://www.autobritedirect.co.uk/in...heavy-duty-foam-lance-various-connectors.html

They are both in and around the same price although the Autobrite one is a few quid cheaper at the moment.

Has anyone used both of these and if so which one gave a better Snow Foam consistency?

Regards
Stephen

you must have the 0.3litre karcher lance then, becuse mine is adjustable and I can do my car and the seicento to one full resivour...

this is the one

I have the same one as you Reuuk mate at the min, but have ordered a different one, from ebay for £30.00 been told it is exactly the same as both the CYC and Autobrite one just without the logs etc.

http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/281140568...eName=STRK:MEWNX:IT&_trksid=p3984.m1497.l2649

I will let you all know how I get on with it once it arrives and free P&P making it currently £8.00 cheaper than the one from Autobrite and £15.00 cheaper than the one from CYC which is in stock with various fittings!

I used to have the Karcher one, it was really poor compared to the adjustable ones!

I've been using an Elite Car Care lance for the past few years. Does a brilliant job and you can adjust both the rate at which the mix is being fed in and the pattern of the spray.

Hi colin79666

I would say the ebay one is the same one as the cyc, autobrite and elitecare. I will let you all know (y)

Hi,

I have always used AutoBrite HD lance, currently £38 on the AB website and comes with the bottle too.

I have used many, many different types of snow foam in my detailing regime but only recently found the one I feel is the most effective at both cleaning and foaming. Demon Shine Snow Foam. Brilliant stuff and one of the cheapest foams I have bought...goes to show, expensive big brand names aint always the best. Foams up like marshmallow through the AB lance.

Lol might have to try that then :D tbh mate this lance I got from ebay does the job perfectly for me I have used two types of foam with it so far being the Auto Glym stuff and the Bilt Hamber stuff and it worked as it should, I have purchased some Satsuma Snow Foam from Carbon Collective, I haven't tried it yet but if it is like any other of there products it will be amazing :D

Nice one mate, glad it worked out well!
