Technical sneaky earth point,

sneaky hidden earth point,

this is located behind bonet catch inside car,

for those with dashboard electrical gremlins its worth a check,
this is not listed in wiring diagrams,

you can get to it with dashboard in,
its very hidden,just at side of the bonnet catch,

a little tidy slice with a craft knife on carpet is best way to get at it,

Internal earthing points i'd expect to never rust tbh

We should make a guide up of all the earthing points in the car might come helpful

certainly a consideration because its highly likely water would cause a problem there over the years
did the earth lead trickle down into the bsi by any chance?

ive changed a few outer brackets ie hinges before now so its eminently possible to break the seal thus allowing dribbles inside the car
if i ever do anymore i will be more careful because its in a terrible point to collect water
