Quite like the exhaust Beau i think you have picked well.
Fopr the benefit of those w/out speakers it sounds like your average sports exhaust system when revved but it fairly throaty at idle.
I think you should consider getting an engine service as theres definately blue smoke coming out of back when you rev it on the video

dont say that! make me get worried, the sparks are new, but the oil is old old old, would that cause blue smoke?

yes i have got some good oil and oil filter ready but i aint done yet cos im waiting for when i actually start to drive, i wana change it then
Possible oil leak also, oil mixing with petrol causes blue smoke, have a look on video for yourself you will see it when you give it the beans.
It probably just needs a good service as its been stood a fair while/not given a decent run out

ok, well i will hope it goes when i change the oil then! can see it on this video too from yesterday with the old exhaust-

Can't see the point of that, esspecially if your gonna start it and rev it from cold!!!!! Which your not going to do again are you Beau!! Just do the oil and filter now and you'll know for sure and will find out if anything is majorly wrong before you actually have a car and a licence and unable to drive cause its broken, makes sense to get to the bottom of it before you actually can drive the car around
Exhaust looks familiar...? Sounds good though and if the tailgate was the same colour and that sticker wasn't there, would look good.

cos you made it i bought it from the person you made it for cos he went and bought a GT and didnt fit it- lol i wanted it since i saw he had it, finally got it last week

Our new company as we jacked in the bodywork side of things after my wrist was damaged. Machining and fabrication is what we concentrate on now, i have an excellent bodywork man i outsource to for our requirements now.

front tinted windows (only done one side so far cos it started raining, then stopped... etc so il do it tomorrow)
but the one which iv done, is so easy! couldnt quite believe how easy it was to do! (with a lil help from v-tec, which btw, i broke all the plastic clips... what can i use instead/where can i get some new ones?)
suppose next is to tax it, and get it to the garage!

my old punto had tinted windows, so i took em out and swapped em round
sorry should of made this more clear!! but i think its easy to tint anyway... these were done diy, and there done very well.
i did my sisters punto about a year ago, and got perfect results.

yeah you do seem to get some good results doing them yourself but if i did them i'd wanna remove the glass and do it then just pay a shop to do the rear window

its getting there boo., and i see you FINALLY got there with the windows.,lol., i broke my clip too but im not bothered coz im gonna break the car anyway., the exhaust looks nice on there and sounds ok too but defo get rid of PSC and spirito de punto sticker.,lol
i wouldnt worry too much about the blue smoke just yet., the car is gonna need a good drive to get it running nice anyway, do you get a funny smell from it when its running by any chance? it'll need a good run to clear the cat aswell.,

i think i might be ok for the clips, iv just got to remove the other one very careful as it will be my last one (broke 3)
you didnt mention i needed to take out the runner bit on the door did you
took me a while to realise i had to remove them to take the glass out, snapped the blooming bolts doing em back up! they break easy but its ok now, i put the broken ones in the red one i like the spirito di punto sticker! and im keeping it to show i like puntos!
most people with puntos down here just have em cos they got em cheap and they say there crap, cos they like fiestas :bang: so im keeping my sticker, to show i like puntos i do want 2 fiat stickers on the rear windows too, think that could look nice? yes actually it does smell, it smells like the car is on fire when its running tbh... slightly worrys me lol
strangely enough, it didnt when i got the car though
coming along, beau i went to that place you suggested in wickford to get my rear window done and they did a great job for 25quid! thanks for the recommendation! get yours down there if it is too hard!
