General Slight judder/grind when i brake.

Ok ok I know, check the brakes, but it sounds more engine based.

Its a JTD and when I brake there is a creaking/grind noise that can be felt through the car. Is this likely to be brakes? It sounds very similar to when the revs drop too low. Which, does seem to be happening a far bit at the moment

Like you said, check you brake pads, I had this aswell, the pad wore too low and exposed some of the metal whick makes a grinding noise.,. ,
its best to check early as if you leave it too long it could end up costing you the price of a set of new discs.,

possibly warped calipers, or front wheel bearings starting to go.

my front left wheel bearing is going, but not in side to side play, but up and down/radially!!! which makes interesting noises when accelerating and decceralating!
