site slow?

Just out of interest is anyone finding the site a little slow currently - im getting a bit of buffering here when swapping between threads. im not having issues on other sites.
Sites been ridiculous slow over the last couple of weeks, anyone else? or should I be looking closer to home?

There's another , quieter fiat abarth website I frequent and that is glacial sometimes (up to 20 seconds after request before the page pops up!)

This (for me at least) is always rapido , less than a second. (Firefox latest) - and I'm still on copper 🤭

Maybe check your browser doesn't need an update ?... or perhaps an adblocker is slowing it ?

Nah, my FF is always up to date (but just checked to make sure) adblockers off on this site so not makig a difference. Ok, so I will look into it my end.
Thx for reply. (y)

No problem here from sunny Glasgow
Let me think for a moment Oh-yea this is a forum site for Fiat vehicles! and here we are batting about opinions about the website thats all about Fiat that does things at random! fails to perform at the most inconvenient moments:rolleyes: and on occasion frustrates us within an inch of our lives😡 ya kinda think we would expect all that!.
Unless of course its a Chinese manufacturer trying to hack us and con us into buying an electric SUV:eek: (chocolate tea-pot!) named after an aquatic mammal( first prize for most inane car name of the decade!) boy do i have to much time to think !🤪off for a lie down before me meds!😛

I am still getting a slow response with yellow arrows across top of screen, sometimes shift control R wakes it up for a few seconds, I use latest Linux and Firefox versions, I tried it on a tablet using Win 10 and Firefox still the same result.
Strangely I only get this on Fiat Forum, no other site, sometime ago on earlier versions of above I found it after trying to reply re a video or photo on this site, but now it is just most of the time having to refresh to upload etc.

I suddenly had a thought, you're not using a VPN are you?

Yes, keep getting the yellow lines, for about a week…some other forums also saying it, they reckon there’s a lot of hacking of systems and big users, Microsoft and meta…as usual china and Russia getting blamed, but also Israel, without getting into the politics of it all, there’s reports that ‘ex’ mossad and IOF/IDF are employed at MS and data is getting shared/used/abused

Just got this again, I suppose it is a change from the yellow arrows, only on Forum though.:(

not really arrows -more like bars! site not slow for me but have seen these bars on occasion moving across the top of the screen when replying to something then it takes a few seconds for the reply to "take" and the screen to display it!.
It is the only site I get it on, a bit like in the old days with Windows and the hour glass. I recall with Windows 3.11 for Work Groups I could go and make a filter coffee including grinding the beans whilst waiting for Coral Draw 3 to load on a 386 PC. With this, if left it gives up and asks you to click reload if I haven't already pressed F5 or control, shift, R.
