General silly place for k&n

on the older k&n's this would go through the actual filter, however on the newer ones could probably get away with it as it would come through the top, one thing ive always wondered mind is do those bolts being inside it affect the air intake? as it might provide more resistance?

Ive been thinking about that as its gonna affect the airflow in my system a fair bit. It'll make the airflow sllightly turbulent, which is actually a good thing for an intake (the Ecotek valve aims to do this, but it doesnt work too well on the FIRE unit as standard)

It might give a small amount of resistance, but I think it might actually help a more efficient burn... *

I've got a feeling the resistance to flow would be minimal, it'll draw from all 360' around the throttle body, so two vertical 10mm bars shouldn't affect things too much.
