Im starting to have a few problems trying to arm/disarm my alarm, its just under two years old and still in warranty lucky enough. Now i was a bit annoyed to be told that if it was my remote key that was at faul i would have to pay for the engineers call out ( fair enough you might say), however ive changed the batterys and i still have the same problem, the second remote key is going the same way too. Now get this i was told that i could buy a replacement remote key for £36........WHAT ! no way man, surely the remote keys are covered in the warranty too, if its faulty its faulty end of story. Also the remote keypad in the vehicle dont work anymore so im inclind to think the alarm is at fault somehow. Has anyone had any similar problems and how long have your remote keys lasted ? I mean i paid about £250 at the time which to me is a lot of money and i would expect a good robust system for that.
