side strip removal

when you take off your side strips on a punto, it still leaves a line of different coloured paint of some sort, is there any way to get rid of this? iv noticed alot of people have done it and they never mensiond that it leaves a line behind on the paint, can you get rid of this? or what

thought it would be pretty obvious that the new paint under the strip that hasnt been exposed to the sun or the elements would be a lot darker than the top coat which has been exposed to everything

T-cut it or similar to restore the top layer of paint
