i have a 1.6 petrol y reg multi, minus a few windows.

i live in a dodgy area and the alarm on my multi does not work. should it have one and where is the control box located to check, i read the manual and my workshop manual cd rom but too no avail please help! need as much info. as i have had two stereos an amp kiddies pushchair and random bits and bobs stolen, so before i go out and buy a new system want too know what too look for on mine and how to set it

thanks

Plug the car body into the mains!!

Only problem is, the Police tend to frown upon that idea :p

I thought Multi's all had an alarm imobiliser? But I am new. Why not google search a local locksmith/alarm fitter and get him to quote? You can get a full system for £90+VAT these days.

And don't give up. Make yourself a bloody nuisance to the Police. The more calls you register the worse their stats - and it appears that's all they care about - then they HAVE to do something.

Good luck fella. It sucks but I know what you are going thru.

I went to the police ... These two boys were arrested and brought to trial. The judge sentenced them to three years in prison, and suspended the sentence. Suspended sentence! They went free that very day. I stood in the courtroom like a fool, and those bastards, they smiled at me. Then I said to my wife, for justice, we must go to the Godfather. Amerigo BONASERA.
