just come home from college, had a car following quite close behind me. he tried to undertake me on a roundabout, overtake me when we both were going right and he only got me when i had to turn into my house! and as he overtook, it was a stilo... bliss, the thought of a seicento setting the pace :p

No....

If it were a 1.2, you wouldn't have seen it for dust, remember Paul, they are in fact the most economical, yet quickest of the Stilo's available :D

Actually, Stiloboy hasn't been on here in some time

Re: No....

Not around much as i'm in the throws of separation..... :(

I'm get the best economy out of my Stilo at the moment, i'm not using it much, drive a few miles to pick up the team Corsa van, yeaugh!

Actually i'm a bit upset with my Stilo economy recently, i'm thinking of writing a stern letter to Fiat, when i spank it up to 6k rpm and drive at over 3500rpm in 6th gear i've found the fuel economy has dropped down to 41.9mpg. Granted general driving at 95+ mph might not be the most economic driving.

Actually I was doing site surveys recently with a bloke with a 307 HDI estate, he was driving reasonable and then when he went to fill the tank up he pointed out on his trip computer he was averaging 41.5mpg which he was pleased with. I didn't have the heart to tell him i drove harder than him, faster than him, owned a cheaper car, using cheaper fuel, that returns better economy and finally is a far better looking car.

307...

I reaqd once in a car magazine they get nowhere near the economy they should, if I'd bought my Diesel only to get that with a lot of effort I'd be a bit pissed off, as it is even when I toe it a bit I still manage to average around 50mpg, and as you say in a car that is cheaper/better looking than a 307 :D
