right am intending to start my fibreglass builds soon (was going to be today but fiat cocked up ordering parts - as usual) i am in need of someone to put together a list of things i am going to need, ie. what type of material to stretch over the MDF skelton of the build and the resins needed. also all the extra little bits i am going to need.

http://www.cfsnet.co.uk/index.html i was going to order from this site as it has been recommended in other threads.

thanks in advance

charlie

EDIT: would it be a good idea to use an old tshirt instead of fleece?

No problem fella.

My last little bit of advice!

Get everything laid out in front of you, within easy reach and unpacked.

Mix up a small amount of resin / catalyst for your first go (100-200ml), just to get the "feel" of it.

If you're taking the door card off, make sure that it doesn't buckle under the force of the FG setting - it contracts!

Make sure you're FG'ing in a well ventilated area.

getting another pair of door pockets to expand on incase it goes wrong, made more sense to me :) got the mdf ready and the baffle part of the build stenciled and drawn out ready, will go get the materials i need soon aswell (and all will start once fiat get my door bins/pockets)

the it time to take over the green house again lol all will be on the table/work bench.

I've done them, this is halfway through....

and this is the finished article, I say finished, they need retrimming in some vinyl I've got to match the interior instead of this God awful carpet that I had lying about...

Problem with the Sei is there's no chance of using all the door as an enclosure, so I wanted to make as big an enclosure I could for better midbass response.

Will be making some new ones next year as I'm not 100% happy with these, still, not too bad for a first go.
