Live in Hope, die in Caergrwrle, its a small town Wales joke. You're born in the town of Hope and die 200 meters away in the town of Caergwrle. Kind of like well at the start of my life i had lots of hope that i'd have a successful life, but i didn't because i died around the corner...:)

I've been buying stuff from S4p for about, I think, 8, maybe 9 years now - first big order was when I did a complete rebuild of Becky's (2010 Panda) front suspension. I decided on them partly for the prices and partly because I read so many good reviews on here. I made a donation to the forum and got the discount. I was a little anxious when all the parts arrived with brand names I'd never heard of and sounded quite strange - Original Birth anyone? I'm not in the market for nappies any more! However it all seemed to be solid stuff so I used it. Now, all these years later, I've not had to renew one single part yet, not even the coolant thermostat (original birth) which I replaced a year or so later when I did the cam belt.

On several occasions I've rung them asking for info and parts identification and they're always very helpful and friendly. For everyday service items, oil filters, air filters, engine coolant, and stuff like that I tend to order from my local factor but for parts like shock absorbers, maybe a clutch kit, timing belt kits, etc -you get the idea I'm sure - I always check with them first and often find they are worth using. You need to have a big enough order to qualify for free delivery though in my opinion. But yes. good people to deal with and I unreservedly recommend them.
I googled Original Birth and the web site, at least, looked impressive. Having tried them and then needing a warranty on the first part, it was replaced immediately without any questions after around 11 months, so Im happy with the name. It seems they are a giant sized parts supplier but not well known.

Oh, that arrangement sounds perfect!
I thought it's just you driving all 4 of them, in turns.
I have to drive them all to make sure they arnt being driven with the aux belt tensioners seized, brakes worn out, electric steering failed, no oil in the engines flat tyres or wheels missing. Women it seems cant hear catastrophic mechanical issues developing. I on the other hand cant iron things fairs fair, after all.

Well FedEx drivers are obviously challenged when it comes to reading.

Parcel sent to newcastle up north, then back to rambsbottom, so will not be with us to day !

S4p are very apologetic...

Quite a bit of snow is forecast for tommorrow, so may not get parcel untill next week !

Who knows.....

FedEx tracking system is &#@".

I found them excellent. Contacted them for a replacement door actuator, they didn't have a good photo on the website site but Mick Holsworth emailed me one to confirm it's what I was after.
Package arrived next day, very unusual for NE Scotland....fitted same afternoon 😀
Been my experience too. Usually arrives within 48 hours or sooner to me here in Edinburgh. Most from down south, seem to be around 3 days on average.j

10pm has been and gone, no knock on the door, text message or even parcel left by the front door in the rain, in the bin or under the hedge....well was the parcel ever gunna be delivered at 10 pm....narh, never.

Will be phoning s4p at 9 am prompt....

Snow shown on weather forecast map for Pennines etc.....

I've had deliveries from s4p in one or two days in the UK, they'd be my go to for any big orders

Sounds like s4p shipped your order on time, but couriers have misdirected it. It happens. Pity if bad weather might cause more delays

FedEx now say expect it in 3 mins time, or 3 hours 3 mins time.

The parcel left Liverpool just before 7 am this morning, so it's closer to me now than yesterday, or the day before, or the day before that. The parcel was despatched a day late, god know why ???

It should have been with me Wednesday for the 48 hour delivery....
