Shoddy reverse electrics

I can't remember every in an out, but just now I have no reverse light

The obvious bulb change has been carried out, the bulb itself (new one) is fine, but its still not lighting up. Andrew took a multimetre to the light circuit, but it appears the ampage is wrong?

Any common failing points? I've had various bits of advice but really need something written up so I'm likely to remember & be able to chase!

Just to add a little more detail. I put the multimeter on the reverse terminals and i was only measuring 0.6 volts.

Already said it to M, but I suspect that the reverse switch on the 'box might be to blame (often the wiring to it rather than the switch itself) but it could be the earths - all the other rear lights working OK :?:

Yep every single one is fine - indicators, fogs, brakes and tails. Nothing amiss anywhere else at all
