:yum:I've finally got the 16v back from the garage with a low mileage Coupe engine fitted and other than a squeeky alternator, she sounds good for saying its been sat for over a year.
I am a little concerned about the heavy steering! Should 3 door 16v's have heavy steering? My 2.0 SLX was very light! I do know there was a missiing power steering belt, hopefully they forgot to fit this!
Anyway next is new pads and disks, plus a top mount. I might then consider fitting a new door and getting it mot'd

I can see this is gonna cost me a fortune!!!!!!

In the Sedici is a Sport Steering

easy way to check the power steering is put the key in to first position, turn steering wheel slightly so you have to hold it in firmly place, then start engine and feel if it's different.

i'd describe the sedicis steering as "weighty" but not heavy, but with engine off it's VERY heavy lol.

it was the rack!! luckly the lad i brought the car from had sold it to me with a recon rack, unfortuately cost me £150 to fit at a local garage!!!!!!!!!!!!!! The cars now running and MOT'd, just need to sort out the pink paint (moping the whole body and painting a new door/mirrors and spoiler brought of Ebay.de) and fit the seat i brought from Gaz in derby and hopefully sell my Panda in sept!!! I'm hoping to run it as my daily driver until i'm 40 next year!! And then buy a 500 abarth or a BMW 330d.:yum:
