Hi. My Ducato based Motorhome (<4000 miles) has a seriously cracked steel strut/bracket that connects the axle to the wheel. Not sure what its called. Found by chance on an alignment chance. Would probably have caused a major accident if unfound.
Could anyone help with reporting this to Fiat - their customer service seemed unbothered?
Apparently there was a recall for a seemingly similar problem last year - does anyone know if this was the case?
Any help appreciated
Thank you

It would seem that the recall may have passed the OP by. The CSV download from the DVSA site often adds some info, viz:

It would probably be worth putting the VIN number in the bottom right of the webpage here:

...to check what Fiat themselves know about the specific vehicle.

Thanks for the info and the excellent pic
(doesn't connect the axle to the wheel though - its the front suspension strut to the hub)

If it's a recall issue, none of the manufacturers will argue with you, normally just take it in and fix it.

That looks potentially lethal. Any official Fiat or Fiat Professional dealer should pretty well drop everything to remedy that. Try emailing one of your choice, with this pic, and quote recall details. I would NOT use it until it's sorted.
