so we are starting at newburgh then?

Ellon first and then Collieston.

Just a quick note that it's getting dark by 7.30 now so if we want decent pictures at Collieston we should head there fairly sharpish

Collieston is like the village that time forgot - there's a post office and village shop and nothing else. But it's very pretty and there's lots of good photo opportunities there.

Postcode for Market Street car park is AB41 9JD

Timed this today. Chippy to Collieston is no more than 4-5 minutes, so food will still be warm when we get to our destination.

For anyone still thinking about this trip...I'll let the photos help you decide :)

It's probably the best place and most obvious for those coming from the city. Btw, for those who don't know Newburgh, Briggies is the local name for the Ythan Hotel (unless they've given in and changed it officially now)

Good afternoon up at Saw's. And I finally got a shot of a GP today...nice, very nice!

Will try and maybe sort out another minimeet before Christmas!

Of course it was

btw, I chose a very quiet road with minimal chance of wild life invasion before I let Martyn drive my car. Thankfully it paid off but I was still v. nervous for the entire 5-10 minutes. Not because of his driving it should be noted

What size is your engine?? was it 1.4 or 1.6?? what ever it is, it'll be bigger than Dubster's.
