Seicento Seicento Sporting 2000 SPI

Introduction

Hi guys, my name is Antonio, I write from Italy and I am the owner of a 2000 Spi Seicento Sporting, to which I try to pay him attention and make some changes.
I have already started to customize it, and I made some small changes to the engine, exhaust 421 of the Punto 75, I removed the catalyst, mounted the throttle body of the 75 and just yesterday I also mounted the camshaft. I greet you and see you soon with more photos and maybe if you have some advice for me.
good work, interesting thread!
you mounted the engine to your 1.1 spi gearbox?

Yes 1.1 Sporting gearbox.
today I can say that I have completed the engine compartment, obviously there will always be something to improve. I have started to weld the exhaust and I hope to finish it soon. Last thing, I have to change the fuel pump and put one at 3.5 bar

guys, small problem, the engine, at idle, remains accelerated to about 1500 rpm. I adjusted the idle screw but nothing. If I attach the upper half moon, which is in the throttle body, the idle drops and stabilizes. What can it depend on? I remember that I mount the 46mm throttle body of the Fiat Multipla.

Hi Antonio,
Where did you find modded eprom for your car? im literaly going crazy finding a Punto 75 Ecu map i can't find nowhere

hi guys it's been a while since I wrote. I have almost completed the swap to 1.4 16v.
The car went into motion.
The other day I was rewiring the Maf sensor and since then the car hasn't been running anymore.
No more petrol reaches the injectors. I have checked the correct operation of the injectors and the pump and everything is ok.
Any advice on what to check?
It seems that the engine idles without spraying petrol as when the immobilizier is not recognized, but the control unit is scodified.
I verified that voltage was arriving on the injectors and it seems to be arriving. Advice?

finally, after 3 months off, she is back on the street, more angry than ever. So much satisfaction in this project that I did it all by myself collecting information on the internet or through some guys who gave me a hand. Now I have some information to ask. The 1.2 16v did not have a high water temperature warning light like the 1.1. Can I mount a thermostatic valve with relative sensor to be able to mount this warning light? When I accelerate fully, the engine struggles to start and then goes into full torque very quickly. I have read that this is a defect that occurs when you mount the control unit of the 1.2 on the 1.4, is there a way to remedy this?

I think the only way to get rid of that stutter is mapping... so either fit a piggyback like a DET3, or full standalone ecu or maybe Dario can do you a chip for your ecu, runs a company called reprog.

hello guys, it's been a while since the first start-up.
I use the car regularly every day and it always gives me satisfaction.
I'll post a video to show you how it goes.

Has anyone put sport camshafts on this engine? is it worth it?

Hi everyone, it's been a while since I updated the page.
Unfortunately there haven't been many updates since the swap, however the ideas and upgrades continue.
I bought a 1.4 16v head which I am slowly working on. I would like to fit the tjet intake manifold with 54mm throttle body. Finally I found used Catcams camshafts. I'll show you the cam diagram, do you think they perform well enough?
