The old haggard JVC unit decided to die on me this morning (not impressed) SOOO I decided to (try) to fit the JVC head unit my other half used to have in her 106 . . . . . low and behold, the plugs are different sizes (too small) Any ideas would be very welcome!!!!

standard iso plugs in the sis on the loom so it must be the wrong connectors on your head unit even though a pewgot uses iso too

have another look:)

Right, had a look at it, decided to pull all of the plugs out and it turns out the numpty that had it before me had put the plugs that had come from the car into other plugs to accomidate the rear 6x9, and then down to one plug to fit in the old head unit, so its all wired in now, apart from the 6x9s. . . not a prob as im gonna rip it all apart to try to get a build in both the doors and rear cards.

Thanks for your help though!! :)

after pulling out the wires that the previous owner had put in ( complete mess !!), I have realised there is no rear speaker wire going into the connector. after much though, I could wire it onto the front speakers, but that would be pointless as the rear speakers can handle more volume, where as the fronts are pretty knackered

Could I not buy some connectors from, say, a punto or coupe (another fiat with speakers in the back) ??
