Hello guys, in your experience, have you established some sort of "recommended" interval for crankshaft oil seal change (gearbox side)?
What I mean is that I'm about to change my clutch, the oil seal doesn't leak at all, but it is also easy to reach with the gearbox out of the way.
Considering the fact that the next time that I'll take the gearbox off
can be 50k km and 5/6 years from now, I wonder if it is a good idea to do it now.
On the other hand, I know the golden rule "if it works, don't touch it".
My car has about 70k km on it; it has been driven not too hard, but sometime in a "sportish" manner....
It is 15 years old.
