Technical Sei Sporting Trip Counter Problem...

Hello!

After the weekend's new exhaust and clutch cable spend-off, I thought I'd treat the old girl to some fuel.

As I usually do, I (tried to) reset the trip counter....but the bloody thing won't ZERO! :bang:

Only a minor grumble I suppose, but does anyone know if it's an easy fix?

If it's a ball ache I'll leave it - I seem to be cursed at the moment!

Guessing it's the electronic one on an MPI Sei? Mine sometimes becomes a little sleepy -- holding it down for a while always works, eventually.

I'd guess -- I've never pulled one apart -- that there's a simple microswitch behind there. If I'm right, any electronics place should be able to sort you an equivalent.

Nah, it's ye olde fashioned dial type (Sporting "V" plate).
