i saw someone who had put big strips of stick on carbon fibre stuff on there bonnet in a magazine apparently looked pretty good as long as you dont look to close

Judging by the difference a strut brace makes, Centos are wobbly enough as they are, and you'd need a huge amount of bracing under the floorpan to counteract the lid coming off.

Might look nice though, as long as it doesn't have the huge black bag on the back a-la Mini convertible!

thanks cento - this lot are just nutters

i'm thinking about hard top for the convertible which should mean when its up its a coupe and when its down its free air!

only question is it gonna be automatic or manual!

as for the strengthening, theres an american car specialist in perth that have done a few conversions on US cars - they are hadnling it all, but i'll be sure to bring up the strength when i eventually get round to getting it done.
