I sold up hence why i didnt get one
i got the one off ebay 2. its really good. coupled with an enclosed air filter from my local auto factors. the alloy tubing stays cool. dont know how. but ive never had an experience touching it after driving and it being hot. so i give a it a
betetr then the KN from before.
but if its not hot after driving isnt that becaue all the heat has gone straight through the thin metal and into your engine?
Reading all of this it looks like it is time to turn my back on Fiats.
you answered your own question in the question it stays cool because its alloy. aluminium has a property in it which disipates heat alot quicker than steel. saw a piece of alluminium and you can pick it up straight away, do the same with steel and you will have your hand under a tap
